Hey there! I'm Tina and I love learning and solving problems! For me, it's not just a career, it's a passion!
I am an instructional strategist and instructional designer. Some would even say that I'm an expert problem solver. Not many professionals can call themselves instructional strategists, but I can because I have a penchant for analyzing organizational challenges from the top down. I help remove these obstacles and help build confident and knowledgable professionals.
I began my professional career as a software developer, becoming a lead developer and technical subject matter expert on a team of seven. From there, because of my previous experience developing learning experiences, I accepted the opportunity to build a training department from scratch. That was the beginning of my learning journey.
Since then, I've designed many successful learning experiences and have consulted many leaders to develop efficiencies with their processes and improve systemic operations. With my 20 years of experience in technology and learning, I have independently consulted training professionals at various points in their careers and training and learning entrepreneurs. My expertise has been featured by such organizations as Purdue University, Stanford University and the Association for Talent Development.
My blog, Edugrammer, showcases tidbits from my varied experience in software development and education to help guide professionals at all stages in their development.
I love speaking on my experience because it is unique. My passion for education led me in the opposite direction of many professionals - from technology to education. The journey has been very rewarding along the way! I am eager to use what I've learned along my journey to help others.
